    Peculiar Message

When I tried to start MSFS today I get the message "Please Insert The Microsoft Flight Simulator Game Disc" and it gives me two options, Continue or Quit. As I bought the sim from the Microsoft store I don't have any disk's. The only thing that I can think to do is run a repair.

I have the disk version of msfs and i get that when i don't have the disk in the drive.
I made a work around on that by creating a very small image file of that disk which i load into daemontools.
But if you have a digital version , you shouldn't have that message.

I found the cause of the problem, it was an add-on that I downloaded from Flightsim.to, I disabled it and now everything's ok

Thanks for that information. I disabled the addon that I'd installed and that cured it, but I guess that could be a coincidence, but all seems well now.

What was the addon? It would be nice to verify on multiple systems.

Odd... I don't see anything in the comments regarding issues like what you described. I wonder if there was a conflict with another addon. Try emptying your Community folder except for this one addon and see if you get the CD message then.
