The KF Centre For Excellence, at the Kelowna, BC (CYLW) airport is more than a museum. It's a conference venue, a learning facility and an airport viewing area.

Not a huge collection of aircraft (just 4) - CV-5800 (no typo, it's a stretched CV580), a DC-3, a Mosquito and a Hawker Tempest II. All except the Convair are/will be maintained in flyable condition.

The Tempest:

All this from the efforts of KF Aerospace, formerly Kelowna Flightcraft.

I guess there's a road trip in my future.
