It gets even better: "The package will complement Ian McCartney's superb RAF Lakenheath scenery, which will be updated by Ian to accommodate the AI traffic package. When the integration is complete, we still need to run an internal beta test but we expect a release in the coming weeks."
So in theory, it should be possible to have the two versions, one modern and one "not quite retro". You just can't have the two versions installed in the community folder at the same time

That's the big thing I miss in MSFS. I had a massive AI collection in FSX, and even had a full RIAT setup.
MSFS is a flightsim in its infancy. I guess we have to be patient.
We can also be positive: a lot of things are already here!
