I'm definitely looking forward to this one as well. Are you still aiming for a Memorial Day release?

No we won’t be ready. Real life got in the way. That said it will be worth it when we do. FDE for the land plane is complete. It’s the VC that’s slowing us down. Will keep all updated.

    That Real Life Stuff

It just keeps getting in the way! Thanks for the update. Patiently waiting, what's done looks great.

    A Little History To Share

I did a search for the N3N at NAF Corry Field which I knew it trained pilots there but came across this N3N in history.navy.mil which I found extremely interesting especially with the float version coming. Here some photos:

N3N-1 at Corry Field (the scenery is available here) in 1938
Next is an N3N-1 Float Version in 1940 at NAS Pensacola
I think the next two are the most interesting taken at the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis in 1957, check out the national insignia and markings. Still painted in trainer yellow. Do you want to add it to the release, Paul?

    I sent you a pm

    Here Is My First Repaint

After testing the floatplane for GAS today, I spent this evening on a repaint I wanted to do when I found it online. So here is a screenshot in FSX off Pautexant MD. You'll find the real photo at USNA Annapolis in the post above.

Once I uploaded the textures to FSX and opened it up to fly, I noticed that IMO the NAVY is a bit small compared to photos and I think that I will make "NAVY" a bit larger before Spad54 releases it for sale and I post it in the Library here to share. Fantastic model! I flew a 40 minute flight from KDBN to KPXE the two airports that I created and it handles like a dream. The first shot below is about 20 minutes out over rural Georgia and the next one is lined up on Runway 18 at KPXE.
