    What took you so long?

In all seriousness, this is an awesome reworking of the Alphasim FS9 bird, so thank you.

    Cheers Folks,
    Down to Alphasim firstly!

I've always liked the ol' Cat a lot, so it's been a pleasure to do all the versions, and there's more to come......

Ok, so this won't be great for every use in CFS2, as even though I put LOD's in, it is a little heavy on FR's. If you keep it down to a few together then ok, but best really for player ac or single missions etc, and as they weren't used in large flights anyway that's not a huge prob.

Ha ha UT, as the white rabbit said, so little time, so much to do.....Multiple projects on the go and I easily get side tracked by new ones. What also doesn't help are clever b&st%rds who make great new stuff to try out!

For your info, this is the basic early 5A, which had the wing internal mounting points for the ordinance, so that's why there are no modelled bomb mounts. I used a basic DP, so if you or others decide to upgrade then good. Next will be the mainly used model which had yaggi radar fitted. I did note your request for modelled torpedo rack(s) etc to help with DP's, so I intend to do a Black Cat version at some stage.

    G,
    Good to see you here!

    Cheers

    Hi Shessi
    Lovely work as usual
I did a couple of mission for the PBY's at Midway many years ago.
An initial contact with a Betty, which did not work too well.
I did the night torpedo attack on the transports, which was OK.
I might redo this one and see how it goes.
    Cheers

May want to go and detach/un-weld the tris/faces that make up the underside of the rudder. The way the smoothing is being applied is looks wrong since it making a dark shadow.
