I don't know why, but it still goes to the Betting site. If it works for you, could you be so kind to download the file and post it here?

According AVAST, there's a malware at the site... But here is the plane! Old FS98 airfile, it needs contact point adjustment.Attachment 85239

    Desert Rat:
If you download it as Collada File (.dae) in theory you can use Model Convert X to output the model as .3ds that gMax can use but I have found some 3dwarehouse .dae files are just broken. Also the tri/poly count could be too high for CFS2.

This is a good model to work from. and it is the one used in CFS1. Pepe you are the Best of the Best. It seems like no one can make thiis like old wings and I think it was henry Devred I am not sure but a master piece by any standards. Once again than you one and all, and especially Pepe.

Yes! It's an Herve Devred plane, but it was not used operationally by the Polish pilots in WW2.

PS: The contact points didn't work at CFS2. You can take off and land the plane, but it sinks at the soil. It's strange, but it flies.

    Marty,

Very interesting request; I'm interested to see what comes of it!

I am trying to change the size of the aircraft, and so far, no luck. the weapons show in the view screen, but disappear in flight. the aircraft sinks on the runway and no luck getting it up on the runway. It is great to fly, but converting it for use in CFS2 is another matter. Maybe a repaint of the Lysander is possible because the look alike. It is a great aircraft to fly even with all the problems.

Contact points are always messed up when converting aircraft. Just edit them in the aircraft.cfg. As for the missing payload try ConvertMDL.

After running the MDL through ConvertMDL the weapons are working correctly. Thanks Allen.

I finally got an LWS.3 for my Poland 1939 Campaign. Thanks to Peperez for taking the time and effort for getting the aircraft. I was never able to download it from that web site. and thanks to Allen for all his help and understanding. I finally got the contact points and Dp for the aircraft workable. I have used this same aircraft in CFS1 a long time ago. It is a very old model, but still good in the Simulation. It is bad that no one has stepped up to the challenge of making a new one, or other aircraft needed in some areas of the CFS2 simulation. a new Pzl P.50 Jastrzab and other single engine aircraft for 1935 - 1945 would be a great challenge for some of the masters of the game. I am thankful for what I currently have.

And so having gone through the trouble to get it into the sim & working, you will be uploading it here so others can share?

I got this model into FSDS, but it is way to heavy on the polys, it would be easier to start from scratch than adapt this one due to the amount that would need rebuilt.
