I don't think that will last long. There's not enough "game" to the game ("It's not a game, it a simulator!!!") for the teenagers out there. They're going to go through the landing challenges, then maybe the bush trips, then declare it "finished" and move on. Then it will be back to those of use that appreciate relaxing during a nice flight from Key West to Cancun, or from San Juan PR to Princess Juliana.

    I would add:

    AH1 Gazelle
OH 58 Kiowa (or Bell Jet Ranger)
UH-60 Blackhawk...or even better: Seahawk with littoral ops, USCG or Navy versions
    MH-6 Little Bird

What I primarily want is aircraft that are not available in other simulators. The Junkers D.I comes to mind. If I really want an aircraft I will buy the required simulator (which seldom happens).

While my biggest wish is a DC-3, which AH has promised us will be here by end of year, but next what I would like to see is a decent DC-7C. We have had decent DC-4s and DC-6Bs recently but its been awhile since we had a 7C

I'm afraid the quest for less "mainstream" subjects will continue to be a long one. MSFS is a very different proposition to build for, payware or freeware. The time, effort and resources are far greater. So payware titles are likely to continue to be "middle-road" choices because the ROI is greater and more assured. Freeware will be down to time - whether the developer has sufficient time and patience to produce more obscure titles. Unless they have access to specialist skills like WWise sound production, sounds will be legacy. Material and texture development will also slow progress. So it is likely that the more obscure subjects will continue to be legacy imports if they are freeware. Nothing wrong with that if that is what you are after but dedicated native productions is another story altogether.

I live only for the dreams I have - thanks for the cold bucket of water Baz...lol

The ol Bv-138 Sea Dragon had a production near 300 units - so yeah - not a chart topper

Oh, there are a few airplanes I would love to see in MSFS:

    1. Hawker Hunter (I flew the crap out of Daves Hunters in P3D, especially with swiss repaints in the Switzerland Pro scenery back then)
    2. Hawker Hunter
    3. Hawker Hunter
    4. C-130
    5. Transall C-160
Well... a Cessna 185 would be awesome, a Maule is in the making, A Piper Super Cub maybe...
But I need a decent Hunter!

Not sure about 4 and 5, but 1,2 & 3 may not be too much longer.

Well that is good news! I hope one day that your Austers make it across too. Sticking with old & British, I'd love to see a nice DH Hornet Moth someday.

Just Flight's Canberra PR.9 first, then the Vulcan.
    Milviz's DHC-3 Otter.
    A2A's Fortress, Constellation and Stratocruiser.
    Dave Garwood's Auster Autocrat.
Anything and everything by Rob Richardson

The "Anything and everything by Rob Richardson" in the last post got me thinking - the Twin Pioneer would be ideal for absorbing MSFS scenery eye candy !

Just right for those hard to spot strips in Borneo, Malaya, Aden, Trucial States, Kuwait, etc etc ......
