I use the DXTbmp tool and PS CS6
But I see that I can't open MSFS paints
What tool handles these textures
In what format should it be saved?

Hi Zsolt,
The default tool of MSFS seems to save the dds in a format which DXTbmp can not read.
Workaround i use is open and save the dds-file via program "ModelConverterX" -> "Special tools" -> "Texture converter".
https://www.scenerydesign.org/modelconverterx/
MSFS is able to read both formats, so also the dds saved in DXTbmp.

I use the nvidia dds plugin for photoshop, works like a charm most of the time.
When that fails, Gimp will usually be able to open them, and you can export as psd
You can find most of my repaints for FSX/P3D in the library here on the outhouse.
For MFS paints go to flightsim.to
Download and install this plugin to make your Photoshop compatible with the new image compression methods: https://software.intel.com/content/w...ks-plugin.html
