    Jackryan172,

I'm not sure, but now I can't decide whether I want to play tic-tac-toe, chess, or Global Thermonuclear War.

    Well Sean, I 'Saw' your comment...and had a think...hmmmmm

The control tower looks definitely European, possibly German or Austrian....the vehicles are a Mercedes saloon and possibly a Merc G Wagon, and the German flags (or even old East German flags?) on the tails of the Piper's/Cessna's narrow it. The hills or mountain foothills at the rear are snow covered, so must be near high ground...

So Mr Bond...a guess at somewhere in Bavaria in Southern Germany or Austria, near the Alps...Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Innsbruck, Graz, Saltzburg possibly??

    Cheers

There's a "Team Lufthansa" painted Dash 8 in the background and the surrounding terrain is hilly. Could therefore be Augsburg.

Or a retro version of Nuernberg.

    Not Graz then.

There are so many small regional airports...so which of the others is it 'warm' at?

    Sean,
Yes please, a good bit of fun, if you don't mind the effort.

Keeps the ol' grey matter going, and people may want to get/install what's been put up.....

Please do. Although I didn't post an answer doesn't mean I haven't been searching to find this airfield.

    Cheers,
