    Installing order / MSSF2

    Hey guys.

I installed my original CFS3 from two cd's and I managed to get it working with two patches for the .exe.
I was wondering if there is a guide or something in order to get the expansions working for this game so it is fully patched up before I try to add campaigns or models that might give me trouble.

Also, has anyone found a way to get the feedback to work? Mine will not enable on setup and it feels extremely weak.
    Thanks everyone.

    Ray.

Welcome, Ray! There are a zillion guides, should be plenty in the sticky part of this forum. The first thing you want is a clean, patched to v 3.1a, version of CFS3. Most upgrade versions of CFS3 contain a wee program called multicfs3.exe. Each time you want to install a new version like ETO or MAW, you make a copy of the clean version, and install the extension onto the copy. IIRC the ETO upgrade pack contains multiCFS3. The guide will tell you when to run multicfs3.exe, which sets up each install with a unique name and a set of folders in the Application Data pathway of your computer.

There are probably several ways to skin the feedback cat. One thing is that each aircraft .cfg file has a feedback section where maybe you can amplify the settings. No doubt there is a universal way to do this as well. Don't have FFB myself.

Don't forget to install the mission builder addon in the update section to your fresh(stock) install. You will need this for other Expansions. Welcome aboard and read the stickies. They are a great help. Hope this helps. Regards,Scott
