Thank you NC, I'm looking forward to trying this one out! It looks very well done.

There was a previously-released freeware Coningsby as well, so if anyone has that one already installed, make sure to remove it when you install this new version.

It's an incredibly detailed scenery. The only thing missing now are some AI, or at least static, Typhoon fighters.

I'm not much into modern jets, but I like having this scenery as it is where the RAF's Battle of Britain Memorial Flight aircraft are based, so naturally a good place to fly the Spitfire.

    This field is indeed amazing!

Good to know Ian McCartney is also over to MSFS, according the comments his next convertion project is Lakenheath.

Watching this, I am getting hardly depressed when I am comparing this excellent scenery with my Brüggen! What an extremely enhancement in any details, reality, visuality.
As soon as military AI will be back in MSFS, I can very well imagine to change my sim. Ian shows the state of art in current flightsim scenery design! Awesome!
    Best regards, Manfred.

Really awesome scenery! Can't wait to see more from him.

That looks like a very lightly loaded Hawk, judging by the undercarriage... either that or the model needs adjusting...

I don't like the T-45 Goshawk very much, but in these colours it's okay...
    Best regards, Manfred.

Ya know I hadn't even clocked it was the Goshawk rather than the Hawk! :-/

    It's a Yank spy in a repainted T-45C Goshawk.

A great update was just released for this scenery, so that now the ramps are full of RAF Typhoon fighters: https://flightsim.to/file/10045/egxc-raf-coningsby

Do the added static aircraft have any influence on FPS?

None that I've noticed. It would take a lot more to create a FPS problem in this sim. The only times I've ever noticed a FPS problem in MSFS is with some of the addon photogrammetry sceneries, which this of course is not.
