How long do you have to wait to be cleared to download "Spotlight"? I've been waiting several days now for an email telling me I'm authorized to download.

    A grain of salt...

After trying different versions "Spotlights" does not work for me.
With one version it CTD FSX a number of times and with another it hung at the splash screen and gave an error message.
Googled the error but no real fix.

My FSX Acceleration is rock solid but they just don't play well, once removed all is well with FSX.
Its worth a try as it looks like a very good app.

    Update

For me removing VRS TACPAC allowed me to remove "AI Models" and get by a timing issue. FSX with Spotlights now starts.

Good news! Let us know how you get on.
Striker, listen, and you listen close: flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.

I'll give it another day, given that it was only 2 days then the weekend. Nothing tomorrow and I'll move on. I like the effect but I can certainly live without it.

Sorry to say I then started getting intermittent dll missing errors. After more troubleshooting I gave up and
    uninstalled Spotlights.

I have given up on FS Spotlights officially today. Time to move on ........

Nice throwback to the days of Compuserve.
Most folks ended a response with that.
    Good times.

    Interior files needed

I have the exterior files but am confused as to what file(s) I need for the interior? I see numerous links for supposedly VC panels but I tried some and no VC will load.
Is there just one file that will work for the VC that is needed?

    Thanks

    BTW - I'm using P3D V5+

    Hey GE
Am travelling (in 92F Washington DC) so limited ability to track files down however if you have the default FSX CRJ you need the interior model and VC textures that go with it that will get you started.

This is all I get for a interior (VC) view

    The exterior is fine.

    Usually

VC coordinates are wrong- -->views--> First entry need to be ammended

And even if untextured in VC ( pan forward to see-->the the VC textures entry is missing )

    Roland

PS: You can help me too as I find no way to download that

I thought we were talking about making the gulfstream 650 compat with P3D?

Trying to get a decent VC has been futile for me. The exterior door doesn't open either. I thought this might function inP3D V5 but having to add with other "files"
that were provided have not been fruitful for me.

I just may bin this one. It's a shame as the exterior model looks nice.

  20. #45
GE, you did get the VC correctly, but as Roland said you need to use the eyepoint settings for the donor aircraft - the default FSX CRJ. You also need to copy the CRJ VC textures into each repaint texture (or better, put in a common texture folder). Obviously, you should also use the CRJ panel folder. The door doesn't open because the exterior model was made for AI. This is it in P3Dv 4.
