    Rollus Mirage 2000 refresh

I spent some time recently on Rollus Mirage 2000. Great 3D model but complicated mapping, planning a few liveries.

Here is an early WIP of a retro prototype scheme (Mirage 2000B-01)

    More to come !

    Cheers

    Thanks Gaucho !
I believe your english to french translator did some mix up, allez vous en means "get off" or "go aways" in french, not sure you meant it

The prototype livery is almost done, i will use it for my final layers
AB effect changed, from IRIS Mig-27 with some mods to make it fit to the 2000.

Planning a few liveries, maybe other prototype/ test bed

Nice repaints l'iguane, but it is a pity the model is not longer available.

    Hi Huub,

    I used the Mirage 2000N Basic Pack available here for fs9 ( https://simviation.com/simviation/?t...m&ID=86&page=3 )
As far as I know, it is still available at simviation.

I tweaked the mdl files to remove that unrealistic over-shiny aspect and retextured almost all external model.
Planning a few B's, -5 & -9's foreign users liveries (Probably UAE, Qatar, Peru, Taiwan and a few french schemes)

    Cheers

I assumed that L'iguane was using the earlier version(s) of the M2000 - filenames mir2000c.zip and / or mir2karm.zip and / or mir2knak.zip, which are all still available at flightsim.com.

Despite their age, these are all still great models, and an update with higher quality textures is most welcome - if my assumption is correct of course.

So my guess was not exactly correct, but the link given by L'iguane is still active and leads to one of two copies of the original file - 1Mirage_2000_N_Basic_Pack.zip. The second copy has identical contents - Mir2000Nbase.zip.

But I prefer to use flightsim.com where that file is named mir2knbp.zip.

    Hello Rohan,

As there is no single seat 2000C or -5 for fs9 with a VC and with proper mapping allowing for better res liveries, I focused on Roland Laborie's Mirage 2000N and used it as a hack for 2000B/-5/-9 variants for two seaters only.

    You're much welcome Huub

I have been doing some experiments on wingtip vortices, inspired from some freeware stuff.

    Rollus Mirage 2000 refresh

    Hakko,
    just some questions,
do the refresh be FS2004 compatible?
does it have the same cockpits as the original?
    will be there a manual?
Is somewhere a manual avaible forthe original aircraft?
These questions come in cause I have the original model with the FDE update
but there are no manual for the cockpit nore to fly this plane
Even if focosed on classic/ WWII ac the Mirage is a wonderful bird
    Yours
    Papi

    Hello Papi,
Yes all models/liveries are only fs9 compatible (as far as I know. Liveries might display on FSX on portovers models)
All my screens come from fs9 and are out of the game with no filters or post production effects.

I based my work on models enclosed with Rooster (Jonathan Hilaire) Mirage 2000N Basic pack
I have Rollus original manual, with came with his update to his original models (can be found at Mirage4fs)
I kept the FDE/aircraft.cfg config from the original FDE by Beegee, (clean and dirty configuration, pretty realistic - will go supersonic only in clean)

    Cheers

Beautiful work líguane. The real M2000 is a beautiful aircraft as well. I regularly saw them during my holidays in France.
