Hi Folks,
Another one from Chris Lampard. An previously unpublished Albatros D.III WWI German biplane fighter. Great model with beautiful texs, and something different again.
Cheers

Capt. Kurt is making WW1 models for CFS2 these days and I guess there might be a developing interest in representing that aerial conflict in that game.
Any plans to produce a CFS2 model for this aircraft ?? Thanks.
Cheers folks, Chris appreciates your thanks and comments.
G,
I appreciate you're just asking, but there are plenty of CFS2 models of the D.III. This model will convert very easily as-is, with CFS2 airfile and DP.

Like the panel, nice and clear.
Thank you, Graham.
Hey Huub, if you're getting your paintbrushes out,

Pete,
Shessi and Chris are currently releasing models faster than I can paint them. I had plans for the Dornier Do-18, but real life and finished the Ju-52 repaints came in between. Than the Baltimore arrived and I ran into some nice repaint options for this model. But before I had even started the Albatros was already there. As there are roughly 1,500 Albatros D.III aircraft built, there are quite some repaint options.........
It will be a surprise (even for me) with which aircraft I will start.
Cheers,
Huub
Thanks Huub
I managed to fix it.
First I tried extracting the Albatross_DIII.cab to a folder of the same name and saved all the bmp's in DXTBmp to include mipmaps.
That sort of worked, all the gauges now worked except the airspeed which is a .GAU so not much I could do with it.
Next I went back to using the original .CAB and added pixel_size=1024,1024 to the [Vcockpit01] section of the panel.cfg and ta-da all the gauges are nice and clear as they should have been.

The vc gauges are very blurry on mine also. I checked the panel cfg and there is no pixel size only just size and it's set at 1024 by 1024. Usually when I have this problem I change the pixel size to 1024 by 1024 but since there is no entry for pixel size I can't do this. The vc gauges on Stuart Greens and Scrubs Albatross are just fine. Must be a video card issue.

Well hell! you learn something new every day.
I wasn't sure how to deal with that, not a real problem, just annoying..but..
The real probblem is that the gauge texs are not that detailed, and would be better if I had made a panel for each gauge, but wasn't bothered to do that, so this is a good compromise.

That worked , just make sure the line pixel_size is exactly right including the _ spacing. I looked at another panel cfg just to be sure.
Hello-
Thanks to all involved for another treat! I had to add the lines for pixel size to my panel.cfg as well, and the windscreen is various levels of opaque when I tried to fly it in FSX-A. It's all good! I'm pleased as punch to have it just the same!
