May I please request a repaint?

If so thank you. Lol. Anywho, can someone please paint up the new Air Force One on the SkySpirit model for FS9 please? Also, I have an aircraft in my inventory where part of one side of the tail texture is reversed, would anyone besides the original author be able to flip it and correct it? All the best to all of you, Jeremy

Not familiar with that model so I'm not volunteering to paint

However, a reversed or mirrored texture can only be corrected in the original source file by the modeller.

SkySpirit is the current Project Opensky more or less. Hiroshi Igami is the main modeler and its freeware. There’s different versions IE; SSP2010, SSP2011 (or SkySpirit2010, SkySpirit2011) but all the versions can be found at the usual sites. Oh and one other repaint that comes to mind, IF WILLING of course, would be the NASA 905 747 with the early 80’s “American” livery on the POSKY 747 SCA.

    Hi Jeremy,

It is always sad to disappoint somebody. But the number of people still active in FS2004 is already low and the amount of repainters is even lower. Those repainters who are still around are mainly active with warbirds.

The last time I flew a tube liners is more than 15 years ago and although I have made repaints for civil aircraft in the past, these aircraft all had propellers. I have had a look at the texture lay-out of the SkySpirit Boeing 747, but is simply too complex to make a quick and dirty repaint. And I don't want to spend too much time building a paintkit for an aircraft I will never fly and for which I will never make another repaint.

    Sorry,
    Huub

Thanks anyhow guys. Pete, interestingly enough, the Avsim link you provided was the file in question with the reversed texture issue. The paint I meant is the one coming though and not the current colors. I should’ve been more clear. Sorry. Thanks again though for taking the time to reply.

Actually Air Force One is the mission title, not a particular tail, the aircraft is more correctly a VC-25 of 89th airlift wing it only gets the Air Force One call sign when the big cheese is on-board, they have more than one tail configured for the big cheese

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/89th_Airlift_Wing

And seeing as Trump proposed those new colours based on his corporate 757 stripes, it may not come through
    at all.

    Ttfn
