I wanted to see if anyone else could recreate this issue. I can't seem to get the localizer at my local airport to work properly. Can anyone else get this approach to work?

Other airports seems to be ok, but I consider this my "Home" airport and would really like to understand if I am doing something wrong.
Bear in mind that this is a localizer only with no glide slope. Your post isn't quite clear as to exactly what's not working. If you get horizontal guidance similar to tracking a VOR radial, then that's correct. There should not be a glideslope on this approach.
