    Bv141

After reading the FW189 thread I remembered that I'd started this years ago.
Very far from finished but maybe one day! Or unless anyone would like to take it on?
It's another CFS2 conversion, the original was by Sakichi System in 2002, I tried contacting the author (unsuccessfully).

Might be worthwhile for me to give it a try! I've been thinking about trying my hand at converting models. Not a whole lot else to do during the pandemic

What an oddball aircraft! I'd hate to see what the FM looks like!

To get it airborne I used the JU87 fm, I haven't looked at the cfs2 airfiles!

Would certainly be a unique flying experience.

    Hello.

    I built a BV 141B for CFS1 quite a few years back.
As for flight modelling, it isn't particularly difficult.
A pretty good start would be to de-rate a FW 190A engine from about 1750 HP down to about 1580 HP and increase weight and wing area and of course fuel capacity.
The engine offset is pretty obvious and is really the only really peculiar thing about this beast.

The engine is offset is intended to offset torque effects and also allow better vision from the pod.
I believe that in reality, the engine is offset a bit too far to compensate for torque but that is because they had a minimum offset that was needed for space for the propeller.

    - Ivan.
