Photorreal Fantasy of Flight Airport Scenery

I found this beautiful scenario here at SOH, very well done, but the sin was the lack of a photoreal, and I did it and it was very good

Yep, photoreal just makes an airport come alive. Nice Job Mario!

here's the solo I did, just put it in the Fantasy Of Flight folder on the stage, nothing will change, if you don't like it, just remove them

This is looking really good Mario!

When I made this scenery I have not yet learned how to do photoreal backgrounds. It was my intention to do this at some time and also add more realistic aprons using ground polys instead of the default concrete and asphalt materials.

The photoreal part is covered now. Thanks again!

OK, this might be a dumb question but how do you install this photo real scenery? Do I need to remove any files out of the original scenery, etc. Thanks.

    Hi all,
I agree with mal998, could you guide us through the installation of this photoreal scenery with Dimus original scenery (and landclass!)?
    Cheers,

    Stéph.

I extracted the file and renamed the folder Fantasy of Flight photoreal and put it in addon scenery. Added it in the sim above Dimus' scenery. Worked for me.

Actually, Kermit's PR team helped me a lot when I was making this supplying me with pictures on request.

I am now learning the ropes of MSFS scenery making and slowly converting all my stuff to the new platform. FoF will get its turn.

Hi Dimus, I live about 8 miles from FOF and it looks very poor since Kermit closed it in 2015. The buildings still look good, but the weeds are pretty high. The paint is just about gone on the connie and the pby very faded. They are the only two aircraft outside. That is why I enjoy your scenery so much, the way it used to be.

Kermit is currently involved in creating and developing FOF Act III. Not much is known about the upcoming venue but Kermit has assured everyone that it will be much different from Fantasy of Flight. If nothing else it should be interesting.

He's continued restoring all sorts of aircraft and teasing us with vague plans....... but it is 5 years already

Maybe in the end he will just get tired of it and close his doors ...... lets hope not !

It's true. He's still got several projects underway. There's the A-26 restoration out in CA. There a Kingfisher build down in Australia and I think there is also a Wirraway. There's a Lockheed Vega, his Seversky P-35 re-build and Howard Hughes' old Sikorsky Amphibian plus a bunch of others. Lucky him!
