Thanks for your nice words Mike, the Avia in German winter livery should be available in the library now. Perhaps you can ask Shessi/Chris whether you can upload the tweaked model file?

    Cheers,
    Huub

Firstly Huub, many thanks for all your efforts with the paint, great stuff, much appreciated. Chris also appreciates what you're doing and the ongoing interest.

And..actually Mike...I'll PM you about this.

    Cheers

Loving this Avia so much, i decided to knock up a home. Kbley, just east of Prague, its a best guess scenery, just retro'd the Afcad and used existing librarys, if you have all my other stuff, the objects should show fine, the control tower is from Bordeaux-Merignac FS9.zip, im not making any claims for accuracy, just wanted somewhere to fly from.

There's also a traffic file, and the Avia performs rather well for Ai, but you need Huubs "
Avia B.534 IV Czechoslovakian Air Force 1938"

Not bad for an hours work

No reason to thank me Shessi, it's great to have such a nice model to put some colours on. You know we always appreciate your work, but when you speak to Chris please thank him for the great gifts he still has for us. Always very much appreciated, but not all models offer as many repaint options as this little Avia. (And multiple engined aircraft nearly always are too complex to fly for a simple guy like me )

When the Germans invaded Czechoslovakia in 1938, a Czech corporal Janota flew to Italy in the Avia B-534 with the registration D-10. Most likely the aircraft was returned to Czechoslovakia and handed over to the Germans, but what if the Italians would have kept the aircraft. It might have ended up looking like this!

Still some minor things to change, but it will be made available tomorrow.

    Cheers,
    Huub

Looks like a plane that'd be seen in the "continuation" Porco Rosso movie......just add a hot looking centre-line float with wing tippers.

And red isn't very uncommon on Italian aircraft!

(Don't worry Shessi, I will bring this track back on track soon )

An Avia from the Flugzeugführerschule A/B 115 in Wels Austria. This flying school was formed in December 1939 from several NSFK schools (National Socialist Flying Corps). The school remained in use until March 1945. The Avia had already been withdrawn as trainer in March 1943.

The FFS115 Wels repaint is available in the library. This might be my last Avia B-534 repaint for a while. I have at least 2 more planned, but I decided to take a small break.

Scenery at the screenshot above is Ian Elliot's Kbley scenery (see a few posts above)

Scenery at screenshot above is Bill 'Lionsheart' Ortis Porto Salvo, was part of the Bücker adventure/Valyrie package.

    Cheers,
    Huub

Another great repaint! Again, thanks to all! Enjoy your break, Huub- after all, it is the holiday season!
