During the upload of Landmarks a list of the 50 was shown. Can I get a copy of that somewhere?

The new Devils tower is a treat, but I had to get within about .3 miles of it before it appeared.

My update went pretty well flawlessly this time. Found my problems before were caused by 4 bad files deep inside. After uninstalling the original installation, and redownloading to a different location, because those bad files will not delete, everything is working well. So far.

Its a port over of the Airplane Factory F4U. Ive adjusted the materials and new specs to make it pop in MSFS. Only problem is I didnt get the pilot texture when when I bought and downloaded it.

The Pilot's texture is in 'AF_F4U_share' repertory.

Redownloaded and installed the entire sim, then had to go to the marketplace to get the Premium deluxe update and the japan update, and still had to go trough the content manager to download another 12.4 Gb of missing data...

I made a small edit to the OP to reflect the final patch version. I'm wondering about what all happened in the final hours before the patch was released. The Content Manager had several (most, really) of its entries set to update after a new minimum version of 1.11.3.0, then the URL of the release notes indicates that it had moved up to 1.11.5.0 (and apparently was originally published as such), but 1.11.6.0 became their "final answer."

I second that! Dino brought us the first Mil-Jet and he's got more on the way. I am personally looking forward to the TA-4J but I saw yesterday that SSW has their G.91 flying in FS2020 and it's not terribly far off. In due time, good stuff is on the way!

I know it's been said many times, many ways, ...
..... when updating MSFS, to minimize problems, the community third party addons folder should be empty, with a backup put elsewhere until all is up to date.

Just tried the update from the Microsoft Store, downloaded 1GB and restarted MSFS 2020. Now I get music with a black screen. No picture at all. Guess I will try a complete new install. I agree with Ferry_vO, not very happy with what could be a very good sim.

Just update your card driver, that causes the black screen start up issue.

Well, I installed an update through Steam (only 252 Mb), the sim says that I'm on 1.11.6.0, but the marketplace is unavailable...

I'm seriously considering uninstalling the whole thing and starting from scratch...

But before I do, anyone has any ideas on this?

the Windows installer was confusing also : asking if I wanted to install the program but not specifying 'deluxe' or 'standard' or 'premium' - just do you want to install FS2020...

so being utterly careless and so on I clicked 'yes' - then i had a 300mb installation. Then FS2020 opened to the splash screen and I was asked again to 'install the update' so OK yes...and I had to direct that one to the original folder on my 'D' drive..

THAT was the big one and it took a minute...THEN still not done - I had to go into the 'Marketplace' and add in all the things that were downloaded but not installed.

Wonky AF is the technical term for this Sh!te, lol

1. In the Windows start search bar (bottom left corner of desktop), type in “Xbox Game Bar”
2. When the gamebar opens, there’s a menu bar at the top center of the screen. Click on the cogwheel at the right end for settings.
3. Go to Accounts, then click the Sign Out button about the middle of the next screen.
4. Launch MSFS. An Xbox Live box will appear again, this time saying “Let’s Play”. Click on that button.
5. Launching MSFS continues, downloads ensue, and now things work again.

The bridge designs for Lewis-Clark, Mackinaw and possibly others in this release are remarkably detailed. But you cannot fly under them.

The Lewis-Clark bridge is in WA. I was hoping it was the new one over the Ohio river near Louisville.
