Picked up this link via the P3D Forum - simulated Hurricane conditions at sea in P3DV5 - Pretty impressive looking ocean with 200 kt winds set. Amazing dynamics really when you consider what sims did in the past.
Very foamy or white tops like in real life only thing missing is at these speeds the tops become horizontal streams as the wind rips the wave tops off and the streaking rain. Yeah I know the vehicle is a submarine but nothing with wings is going to float about in this! Matches the dynamic waves of another video of a floatplane rocking and rolling in a swell too. Well I always wanted dynamic water in the sim and they have delivered!
