Description: Walrus/Seagull V Australian Skinpack by UncleTgt
This is a collection of repaints for Mike Stone's Supermarine Walrus, converted for use in CFS 2. This pack reflects those aircraft used by the RAAF & RAN.
I lifted the 2D panel bitmap from Dave Molyneaux's excellent Walrus for FS2004, & made in WIN 7+ safe & used gauges that would work with CFS 2.
I used Martin Wright's MDLmat & Allens DOSMdlc_2 to shine the model & provide a pre-war aluminum mdl as well. The prop texture has been reworked to give better transparency in the Sim.
The textures in this set are: A2-19 - YQ-N - Used by 9 sqn RAAF for ASR - aircraft & crew lost SEP'43. The individual aircraft letter is an educated guess.
L2247 - Flown from HMAS Australia & shot down by Vichy fighters during Operation Menace, September 1940.
A2-16 - Embarked on HMAS Canberra during sweeps of the Sunda Straits, Indonesia January 1942.
A2-21 - 21 - Aircraft from HMAS Hobart, patrolling Australian waters circa September 1939.
