    MSFS 2020 Files

    Hi
Some scenery and liveries at SimAviation...
    regards

    Some other sources:

FlightSim.com now has an MSFS section in their files library.

www.msfsaddons.org is a simple site, but was one of the first to have new sceneries, liveries, etc. collected.

flightsim.to - Another new site with collection of add-ons

Nexus Mods has an MSFS section with some nice stuff: https://www.nexusmods.com/microsoftf...=new+this+week

SubReddit with some links to files: https://www.reddit.com/r/FS2020Creation/

    Thanks for the tips.

I went to the Nexus Mods site. They have some nice textures for the King Air 350, but I am not able to locate a Download Link anywhere on it. Any help here? NC

Navy Chief, you have to be signed in on the site to download. The nice thing about having an account is you can actually see if a title has been updated since you downloaded it.

Here's another site (FSEconomy-based) that has custom airports and airport upgrades -- and is taking requests for more!

    https://sites.google.com/view/vtol-aviation/airports

There's a "stickied" thread for freeware addons at the top of this forum too.

Another site not mentioned yet with a lot of MSFS freeware is: https://flightsim.to/

Thank you Denny for the link to the VTOL page!

I am signed onto the site. No download visual link. I checked again. Am able to download other files, as they all have a Download button. But not this one. I messaged the author of it. NC

Maybe you have to have a paid account? I registered and went exploring and found the old FSX powered hang-glider. I'm thinking that might be a bit of fun for slow exploration of scenery!

Well, I have been able to download everything listed, except that file. It is the only one missing that link. There's nothing showing that indicates a paid account s required, that I can see. NC

Yeah, I got the same exact results. I haven't flown the KA much at all, if any, so I'm not really hurt over those textures. I did pick up a new texture pack for the TBM and some scenery, so I'll probably check those out tomorrow.

I figured out the problem, I think. Unless you have a paid account, the limit of size for the Free account is only 2mb! Sheesh. Oh well. NC

The only thing in the texture folder was two thumbnails. I decided to try it out anyway, but it doesn't even show up in the aircraft menu. So much for that idea...

What I have bookmarked so far:

    https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php
    https://www.msfsaddons.org/
    https://www.nexusmods.com/microsoftflightsimulator

I've looked in on AvSim, they have the categories set up, but nothing's uploaded yet.

I no longer go to msfsaddons.org for any files, or even to browse. The site has political ads. Flight simulation is a escape from daily stress. I don't need that crap "infiltrating" my sim time. NC

Hi Chief.. Personaly I use ADBLOK, no ads at all, and free so far. Made a little exercise pausing it. Got portuguese adds. Then turn on VPN, the one that comes with Kaspersky Total Security and choose a USA server. Using F5 key, got a lot of different ads, was curious about political adds (not permitted in Portugal) but find none after several attemps so I quit. random presentation ... if you want to, you may use a VPN choose another country or adblock. Problem solved. I know they need to sell ads, don´t like any kind of ads but there are ways to bypass them.
    stay safe

    "VTOL page" ??
For obvious reasons, I expected something else when I read the name "VTOL Aviation" ...LoL
Just curious what the abbreviation VTOL stands for in this context.

Flightsim.to is excellent, I like how you can choose different search criteria’s, eg. By topic such as scenery or aircraft but also by country too. Great selection in there.

There's a very nice USAF C-32 (787) livery on Flightsim.to today, but unfortunately I only have the Standard version, and the 787 is not included. Much as I like that livery, it isn't worth upgrading to the Deluxe version ($90) to get it! A few weeks ago, someone did the 747 in Air Force One colors, but because the repaint template is apparently faulty, the lettering is mirrored, so the port side is reversed

If THAT could be fixed at some point, I would be a happy Navy Chief!

It's not the template that's at fault, it's the actual model where there problem lies. Nothing can be done without modifying the model itself unfortunately.

I hope MS fixes it and includes that in a future update. NC

I hope so too, but I'm not holding my breath.

The default mirrored textures in FS9 never got fixed either. The airliners had a separate texture for logos, but if you looked too close, you could see them floating about six inches from the side of the plane.
