    the registration tells you partly: Iceland.
    It was a flight from Isafjördur to Saudarkrokur, in the NW of Iceland.

    JK,

    Thak you. I was focused on the airports & approaches and missed the easy clue.

    I was exploring that area after its World Update, but as I tend to fly in real time as much as possible it was mostly too dark to see anything. I'll probably head back up during the summer.

    I've been enjoying a week off work and took the Beech V-tail on a nice cross-country this morning, following the route of a flight I did a few times 20+ years back (in a Piper Warrior). KFCM - KCFE - KMIC - KFCM.
