Oh wow, that refueling screenshot brings back memories. I was fortunate to take a press flight on a KC-135 out of RAF Mildenhall in 1983. I got to see what this screenshot depicts, as we refueled five or six German F-4F's on their way to Goose Bay. Back then I was using slide film, and many shots were over-exposed. How I wish I had been using today's digital cameras! Several years later, I met one of the F-4F pilots at the London airshow (London, Ontario, Canada). He later confirmed that my KC-135 had filled up his F-4. He sent pictures of the event. How cool to see it from the other side, knowing I was in the tanker at the time! By the way, he was flying Tornadoes regularly but still preferred the Phantom from a pilot's perspective.

And now, I need to try to do what you did here. Flight control replay? - And which tanker model? Great screenshot...

I would happily share one of my actual pictures here if the admins allow it (since not simulated!)..

    Hi Kenneth,

this shot was simply done. Used Flight Control Replay to display my repaints in formation, flying at 28.000 ft with overcast real weather. Left is F-4F GAF 37+26 , middle is SEA F-4E Spangdahlem 71-1079 and right is RS European One wraparound 69-0264. The KC-135 boom was real photo and I put it on screen with photopaint.

Had me some flying fun this weekend. Actually, when MSFS was released and having taken a look at the format of the models, I seriously doubted that we would be blessed with the many freeware gems that we got to enjoy in the legacy sims. I was wrong. All of the following are freeware, and all of them stunningly beautiful!

    Cheers,
