Quite a grey day to go flying locally today, just as it has been in reality, but the winds were quite light. The local CAF PT-22 and BT-13 were up for several flights today flying overhead.

    Exploring Parinacota

Was here in '94 on an expedition. Nice to see this region of Chilean Altiplano beautifully rendered well in FS.

Did a trip I have done in real life (like 20 years ago, though). EDVY Porta Westfalica in the Weserbergland region towards the northern sea, passing Bremen and landing at Norderney. They have pretty good fish up there! ----

I enjoy flying down low, but sometimes I also like a bit more speed than most GA aircraft provide. Here are some screenshots I took this past Sunday, treating the Citation like any other regular GA aircraft, maintaining 2,000 ft ASL maximum (below MSP Class B) and keeping it below 250 kts (legal below 10,000 ft).

John, the lower picture with the landing light shining off the runway is spectacular. One would swear it was real.

    First flight over Tokyo :

Advice is to take an extra bottle of oxygen flying over Tokyo as it will take your breath away !

For all the bugs, I can't help but be amazed by the level of quality and framerates of this iteration of FS. I remember trying to fly over New York city when FSX came out and my PC which wasn't that old struggled massively and it became a slideshow. Here we have 100X better levels of detail and scenery and it still runs pretty well on my 9 year old PC!

What we get as default is outstanding. I don't care that the UK is non-photogrammetry, because even the AI generated UK looks good, I also don't care that areas with photogrammetry are sometimes many years out of date, because this is so far advanced of anything we've ever seen.

Flying over a city at sunset with building reflections is something to behold!
