Precisely the generic vintage pilot model I've been waiting for... trying out the Got Friends "WWII" pilot avitar in various applications. It's great to be able to see a vintage-themed pilot in the cockpit of these types now, especially the antique/open-cockpit types (no more baseball cap or bone dome).

I was lucky enough to be invited to be on the beta team for the GAS Stearman, and she is a beauty!

First a couple of shots in flight and on the runway of Compton-Abbas

Then two shots showing the EFB and the VC. You'll see that Lagaffe has really outdone himself. The functionality is outstanding!

@Priller : Can you tell us the differences between this model and the DC Designs Stearman ?

Hi Zetar,

I don't own the DC Designs Stearman, so just like you, I can only comment on the shots.

If you look at the VC shots, you'll see that the GAS Stearman is quite a bit more detailed.

If you look at the fuselage, you'll see that the effects of the ribs is a lot less pronounced on the GAS Stearman, which is IMHO more like the real thing.

I'm going to stop here, not wanting to bash anyone's product. I'm merely pointing out differences. I can't comment on flight model or anything, because I can't compare.
