Oh that looks good.
Oh that looks good.
nice work, Zsolt!
You can find most of my repaints for FSX/P3D in the library here on the outhouse.
For MFS paints go to flightsim.to
Damn, Zsolt, you're on fire with all of that work. Well done!
Yeah!
Zsolt is that the Iris bird?
Plans for a RNZAF one?
Many Thanks!
Somehow I missed this one.... Not the DC version, but an approved port-over of the earlier Milviz model. Of course limited functions as expected (think the Sabre), but looks very good and comes in two download packs with 116 liveries. Will grab more screenshots later. I need to fly it more to assess its characteristics, but first quick flight I enjoyed it.- Kenneth
a default MSFS aircraft - that I would love to build in 1/16 scale
This thing is a delight to take screenshots of. The source states it is an approved conversion of the earlier Milviz Phantom, as such we must be clear that this is NOT an official Milviz MSFS release. Therefore, there are limitations (such as no click spots in the VC). BUT for sheer visual goodness, and a high fun-factor, this is great. And yes I do own the commercial all-MSFS DC Designs Phantom and absolutely love it. Please let's NOT get into comparing apples and oranges. For Phantom fans, buy the DC version and grab this free one too. Then use each according to the type of flying you feel like doing. - So, this photoset is of the US Navy F-4Js. More screenshots to follow tomorrow. (And I need to check the download link again too!!) - Kenneth
Kenneth, thank you very much for sharing. This beauty looks so great and detailed, nice to see pics of these variants in MSFS, even if I don't own it.
Best regards, Manfred.
I always liked the Milviz F-4J but I cant find where to download that MSFS version. Have tried looking. Where do you get that?

Correct! It's Randolph. I was inspired by Blackbird's upcoming T-6A. No ETA yet as I just started. I though if I made a convincing Taj Mahal, I'd have a go at it. Would have lots of little details like this one:
and of course the TAJ itself:
Kent, if you were there I may call on your help.
Just a few screenshots from a recent flight around Minnesota (my neck of the woods), where I just really liked the colors, lighting and atmosphere. As always, no filters, no post-processing/editing, just raw images from MSFS. I've been really enjoying REX AccuSeason Advanced, with the addition of terrain color/tone adjustments for fall/winter, and of course the tree textures - I really like the way it makes the scenery look.
As promised, here are more screenshots of the CONVERTED Milviz FSX/P3d Phantom. This time I'm looking at some of the USAF liveries on the F-4E download. The more I fly it, the more limitations I discover. Important for some will be that these conversions apparently do not work in VR. Also, while the previously-featured F-4J model has control animations in the VC, the F-4E model currently does not, and the artificial horizon seems to be broken in the F-4E while it is working in the F-4J. None-the-less, I stand by my earlier conclusion that this freeware is a fun ride, while continuing to recommend the payware DC designs Phantom for full MSFS functionality.
And to download this Milviz conversion...
1) Go to the private group on Facebook called "MSFS MILITARY AIRCRAFT AND SCENERY" https://www.facebook.com/groups/833504404181842
2) Join the group as I am not sure non-members can access the files.
3) When joined, look for the menu item "Featured" on the upper part of the page.
4) Scroll through the posts by Admin Nico Tismer. You will find at least two posts including download links from Google drive for the F-4E and F-4J collections. I found the F-4J is currently up to version 7, while the F-4E is up to version 8. I tried both versions of the F-4E and found no difference in the issues mentioned earlier.
I'll create one more post to feature some non-US Phantoms and the VC later today or tomorrow.

Having now spent the entire weekend flying and "photographing" Milviz Phantoms (converted remember - not native MSFS), I think I better forget MSFS for a week and get back to real life! In the meantime, for your viewing pleasure, I present a screenshot ensemble of British and German Phantoms. The RAF aircraft are from the F-4J download, the Luftwaffe machines are from the F-4E download. (Link a few posts up from here). The VC's have no click spots, but most of the basic instruments function with a few exceptions. They look great though, and I enjoyed hand-flying them for two entire days. Many more liveries, but I think I am Phinally Phantom Phatigued!!!!!! - Kenneth
The British...
The Germans...
Phabulous - Phantastic - Phantom! Great shots, thanks for that
Best regards, Manfred.
