Hehe.... what do you think ... keep on dreaming, mate
Actually if we could've voted i would've strongly voted against posting these pics. Fake news enough in the RW. Dunno bout you but i feel a tendency for my eyes to water and burn at the same time looking at these pics. I'd call it a tantalising torment to say the least.
It looks like the old CalClassic airplanes of Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson. These go way back to 95 or 98!

Correct...CalClassic..er... CLASSICS!
And why not post? We each enjoy the game in our own way. I for one love seeing some old gems given another 'lease on life'...and...
In addition to sharing some lovely images, I hope it might inspire others.
As for me, while I truly appreciate the splendor of the the new MSFS aircraft, we're unlikely to see the plethora of models we've enjoyed over the past 40 years -- so I bring some of my favorites into the game and enjoy them.
I for one cannot understand a decision to block so many fine older models from being brought forward into the game. Sigh...one of the many philosophies/decisions which have had a sad impact in our hobby.
But at least I can enjoy a few of my favorites in my own way.
Cheers

Not usually my cup of tea but a good opportunity to check what all this FMS stuff is about
Did a trip from Maastricht-Aachen to Leipzig earlier and now continued it in the dusk towards LOWI, still one of best approaches in Europe. It is a handy little plane, quite fast and not complicated at all.

Good to see you like it, but unfortunately, your very nice shot also shows that some of the stencils I put on there are mirrored, ouch!
So I've uploaded an update, correcting this:

and for good measure another paintjob as well

Honestly?
I'm not sure anyone but you noticed!
But of course now you can't un-see it...
Glad to be of service

I redid this texture for my personal use, which is part of the default liveries offered by SSW for its F-104G.
I had just corrected a few small details that were a tad incorrect.
Richard put me on the trail of a series of photos taken at Luke AFB in September 1979.
Among these is the "Fighting 69th" with special markings on the doors of the nose gear.
So here is a new project in progress.
I'll add my 2 cents worth: this is a mighty screen.
I love it when there are questions around a shot:
Where's he been?
Didi he make the trap?
HOW do you even make it in that thing?
What's next?
etc
Likewise the Starfighter series - epic.
Without detracting from the work, this sim really opens possibilities does it not.
