Great work John. Nice to see some of the "Blue Nosed Bastards"as the Germans called them.

Almost done this CWHM Dakota. I've started trying to understand Blender. Having worked with Gmax before, there is familiarity. Just far more advanced. But I am making some progress so far. I am now able to import a model and clean it up ready for painting, I can identify the smallest parts and their associated maps, and make UV map guides to paste into Gimp. Painting on the model-I've yet to do that but, I can't wait for that knowledge to strike. It will make lining up details between separate UV maps WAY easier, far more 3D detail, and I won't have to load the sim from start until the final check.

Miss Crabby Freckles, yes. Sundayschool teacher not really liked very much by the childern (and by their parents neither). She was ordered to sit in the back because the pilot couldn't stand to look at her sour face any longer (he had ordered her first to put on sunglasses..). She is known for unauthorized flying of warbirds. Unauthorized because she refuses to wear proper flight gear (nice jacket though). Her father was Richard 'Groucho' Daley, former mayor of Chicago who bulldozed Meigs airfield just because he got out of bed on the wrong foot that morning.

If Miss Crabby is found aboard a warbird again her license is going to be expired forever.
