    Everything working now...

Except for the wheels... that do not show (just black blobs)
Starting to look much better.... doing some serious painting... the mapping was off... by mm. only though....
can work that for a better paint job...
Some how... the bmp for the wheels does not take... any suggestions?
Thanks for the help... btw discovered an easier way to get to this famous virtual store... just type: %LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore
No need to put user name at all...

The last A6M2 model 21 by Akemi is definitely one of my favourites as well. It is "the Zero" from the early stages of the war in the Pacific.

Some really nice pics Huub, showing his stuff off well, agreed he made some beauties. (Although a minor and surprising niggle, with this Type 21, is that he made the spinner too big and not quite the right shape.)

I must install some more of his stuff.

Is that his or another Japanese Carrier fleet? And what Ocean wave height state and colour/tex are you using there?

    Cheers

I have the WOP/A2A A6M5 model from the A2A/WOP fighter set as well, and for sure a very nice model. But I somehow prefer this one. Perhaps because it was given to the community by somebody who enjoyed making it.

The spinner might be slightly too big, but I don't know whether the shape is that wrong. With the original flight dynamics I was unable to start from the short desk of Yanco's carries. So I had to fiddle with the flight dynamic a bit.

The carrier fleet is the one from Yanco's Coral Sea package. (Might be the Midway package as well, as I have both installed) .

When my memory is still correct I did mail you my "water" a few years ago. I think this OceanHeightField texture and water textures are included in that package.

The CFS2 community did some very nice textures for this model. Including some green versions........

    Good evening Huub,

-I also use the Ki 84, and I don't have the same cockpit textures as you !!!!
Mine are gray / blue for the panel and the interior!
Did you modify these textures or was it in the archive?
I wish I had those dark textures!
    Could you share them?
    Thank you.
    cordially

    Hi Alain,

The VC textures are on the texture "ki84-03". One of the many repaints I have installed came with these dark VC textures. I need to figger out which one....

    Cheers,
    Huub

edit: Found it: These dark VC textures come with the K-84 textures done by miccasharon. When you do a search on his username and the text Hitachi Kyodo Hikou Shida they will pop up.
