So, that MSFS looks pretty impressive...

Figured I'd drop by and see how you fine folk are doing since I've not been here since... I think my profile said October? lol

Lots of things happening in my life (I'm now in Wyoming working for the Forest Service as a seasonal Oil/Gas Well Compliance Inspector [Thunder Basin National Grassland] with hopes of snagging a Natural Resource Specialist permanent position in the near future) and I'm cautiously optimistic about the new FS coming out soon.

Really curious to see what the mod community will come out with - right off the bat the ground tiling ad low-mid level in the vids I've watched seem... distracting in a bad way when the rest of the game looks so spectacular.

Unfortunately, I left my Cougar HOTAS at home when I moved, so I don't have a stick or throttle at the moment. Other things to worry about when you've got a 2-door Jeep to take you 1500mi to start a new life across the country.

Here's an album of some pics I've taken - https://www.flickr.com/photos/cybrsl...57714862045522

Got more albums of pics, Devil's Tower, Ayers Natural Bridge, etc. Looking to hit up Mt. Rushmore in the near future.

Great to hear from you, Cybr! I too,am looking forward to MSFS2020. I bought the base package, only because of SWS models that will be added. Nice pictures, btw. I will never see places like that, so it is enjoyable to dream about visiting.

I'm holding off buying it until I get a new stick/throttle combo. I fly DCS as well, so it's difficult to choose as I really want a stick with twist-rudder, but I don't want something generic. Plus, the radar cursor on the Cougar throttle I have doesn't work anymore and it's literally impossible to find a new switch.
