    Questions for You All

As a CFS2 junky, I have to say I am impressed with the graphics I see in some of the DCS videos available.

    Questions:
Is it worth the free download?
Do I need a more powerful PC to run them without getting a slideshow of under 25FPS?

    i3-4170 3.7GHz CPU
    8GB RAM
    nVidia GT1030-2GB VRAM
    Windows 10X64

Is it worth the $50 per aircraft to expand to the Spitfire and P-51?
Are there other WW II aircraft?

PS, Oh, and is it like our other sims here in SOH? Can it be added on to by those of us who do add-ons?

Thanks in advance for educating me...

Hello Lee,I think the free download is well worth your time,DCS has very scaleable graphics settings so as long as you're not running in VR you should be able to find your sweet spot.

DCS comes with two free aircraft,A T-51 Passenger version of The Mustang and a Frogfoot Russian Jet,You can try these and see what you think. Also DCS usually have at least 4 or 5 sales a year with many products discounted by as much as fifty percent.

I mean if you're looking for the full experience and want to WWII primarily, I would go with IL2 Bodenplatte Deluxe. I think it's on sale right now 50% off. Graphics are amazing and it's all WWII.
