Just finished installing. Now have TE Washington, Oregon, Northern California. Waiting for TE Southern California, coming soon.

That will be the entire US West Coast. Extremely Beautiful and varied terrain, Highest mountains to lowest desert areas in the USA.

Oh Joy.. They did a magnificent job on it.. More reasons for people to fall in love and move here.. I'll have to buy it tomorrow and see if I can rip it apart.. There should be a nuclear submarine docked in Portland as well as the VA Hospital on the Hillside there. Of course theres Mt. Hood and the Dalles, But what about Warm Springs and the part of Oregon geologists cant figure out?? Bend Better be there this time, as well as the Painted Mountains.. All kinds of things to look for.. Will be a fun day ..

One very clever tweak in the ORBX installer is the ability for one to purchase any of these large chunks of scenery and hold of downloading until it suits one.
In my case that will see the weekend shot after I've installed the newly purchased 2TB SSD for ORBX libraries only!
Fortunately I have three unused 'No Charge Top Ups' owing so I can bundle onto the SSD and not leave anything out...........

If your C drive is small or mostly filled, change the Temp folder location in Central. TE Oregon is over 78 GBs download. According to ORBX it can take up to three time the space in Temp folder as the compressed files get expanded and written to the Library folder. I had trouble installing TE Oregon until I change my Temp folder location.

Just wondering if NAS Whidbey Island is visible in detail in TrueEarth Washington? NC

NAS Whidbey in True Earth Washington (with/without addon)

    Hi Navy Chief,

Here's NAS Whidbey Island in True Earth Washington. The shots with the blue hangars and static aircraft are with the freeware WINAS_V1.5 custom scenery on top of True Earth WA. (Adds FCLP on the runway, static planes, accurate hangars and Cougar markings). The other shots are the airport scenery included with True Earth, which is still better than stock, but not as good.

Wow, modelr and I posted at the same time!

The summary from my shots is you're going to get the best Whidbey by adding TrueEarth PNW (which makes the surrounding island and area look great!), but on top of that use the Whidbey Island NAS 1.5 scenery uploaded to Simviation by Chuck79, which is the blue-roofed scenery in my shots.

Mine was pure stock TE Oregon with PNW, and Active sky, no other additions.

Denny, I'm going to have to get that scenery. Thanks for that.
