    Flight model

I really tried to get this one pretty close to the data that I have. CFS3 really does not like twin bombers at all. So @ 45k in all up weight fuel is at about 50% (100% fuel and you just may sit there). To get 4 lbs boost about 85%-90% throttle (again no boost control in our game...) at 2400 rpm gets you 130 mph at 200-300 fpm. The climb is painfully slow but in real life it was, even for the 4 engined planes at max weight. The 800 fpm as advertised weight used was around 35k and max throttle allowances that is why it was called max climb rate - no one ever used this. That is one of the reasons fire power always pissed me off, the flight models were like race cars. Enough of my whining.

Again thanks for the feedback that I have gotten.

Excellent work! No issues so far. Do I understand it correctly that even though the readme says "This pack contains 7 aircraft . . .", I haven't goofed somewhere and that it's only intended to have one for right now so folks can report issues before adding in the rest?

    Manchester- Upgrade

    She is a magnificent addition!

One question is the "Clight file" that appears when opening the file?

    Where does it go?

It is not in write up in the directions in the Info write-up?

It is still a dream to fly.

The readme says "You will see the 3 folders: Aircraft (shared files and engine sounds), pylons, weapons".

The zip actually has five folders and is missing the "aircraft" folder, so I created one and put the folders Clight, Manchester_Mk1_EMD, and manchester_shared in it.

Then it's just a matter of copying the three folders (aircraft, pylons, & weapons) to your main CFS3 directory (overwriting as necessary).

    1. Yes this is just for checking 'alles ist in ordnung' so the Nachtjagd can have some fun later.

    2. CLights can go in aircraft folder as a separate folder or in CFS3 main folder. If you already have some somewhere it would make sense to have them all together.

    Update

Just have been going through the models getting the little things that I neglected. Added (uploaded) a revised EMD and a new EMH - both early 28 foot tail sections. These also have a new visual damage model as well. Next 33 foot tail planes with 3 guns!

I am unclear whether the original Manchester upload Manchester Mk I.zip is required or has been updated?

    Icon25 Clarification

The first download has the clight, weapons, and pylon folders that you need. The second has an updated Manchester shared folder. The subsequent downloads have the the necessary files that you need.

My apologies if I'm doing something wrong, but with any sort of load, I can't get any Manchesters to start rolling down paved runways like Berlin.

Curiously, I can get them to roll and into the air from grass strips like Scampton.

The parking brake does seem to be a bit sticky. I was able to get it rolling with a combination of toggling the brakes a few times, slamming the throttle back and forth and WEP.

The climb out was a long slow struggle to gain any altitude at all with 8,000 lbs of bombs.
