Black Sunday Titdal Wave 1 Aug 1943

I was going through the missions of CFS2 when I saw it Tidal Wave I
was just excited about this my father was in the first wave as they
approached IP that day. I began to read the instructions as how
to install CFS2 Tidal Wave which is 187 MB. I read further and came
to a short paragraph that in order to install this mission of Tidal Wave
a scenery of MTO was required to make the program work. At this
point I am not sure how to proceed. I have searched in and around
CFS2 and have found nothing that compairs to the requirement for
this MTO scenery. If anyone can help me thank you.

    Casey,

I believe Operation Juggler is included in that as well. I am not home, but will be able to use my laptop tomorrow evening when I am at the hotel in Rochester, so hopefully, one of the other CFS2 members will be able to put up the link for me.

Trying to do it on an iPad or iPhone is very challenging.

Get Rami's MTO Installation Guide and follow the instructions. the install is a bit of work but worth it.

    Hi William,

You could fly the original self contained Tidal Wave package found here http://simviation.com//cfs2missions17.htm It might be a good start.

If you like it, you could then download the MTO scenery and updated package.

I made a couple of modified missions including John Kane's "Hail Columbia" mission with the aircraft landing in Cyprus, which is what happened it reality. You're welcome to them.

    William,

You're very welcome. It's really too bad I didn't know where Wanamingo was before I responded. I'm actually in Rochester, MN at the moment; I had surgery at the Mayo Clinic today, and have been here since Tuesday. I'll be driving back up north heading to Roberts, WI tomorrow, and am flying back to Massachusetts on Tuesday morning, June 23rd.

I could have smuggled over some Spotted Cow from Wisconsin in the trunk of my rental and split a six-pack with you!
