    FSAddons Bristol Freighter

I suppose I could have resurrected one of the other threads, but it's been a few months, so I'll start fresh. Does anyone know if a paintkit was ever released for FSAddon's Bristol Freighter? Registration for the forum over at the FSAddon site is closed, so I figured the Outhouse might reveal an answer!

Nothing as yet, I believe, sadly.
In the meantime, whet your whistle with this great collection of shots:

I'm beginning to think my FS personality has put on weight during lockdown. Favorite planes at the moment are the Bristol Freighter, the Beverley and the ATL98.... :-)

Given that FSAddon took two years to fix some panel problems on the Anson, I wouldn't hold your breath for a paint kit, sadly.

Thanks, guys! That's a shame about the paintkit, as it would probably help sales of what looks like a really good model. Maybe I'll purchase anyway and try to cobble together a paintkit myself. I've never done that before, but I think the concept is fairly simple. Hmmm...

Your post cracked me up! Especially since we've been flying the same aircraft... Uh oh... time to hit the scales!

Nagpaw -Alas there is no paint kit for the FSAddons Bristol 'Frightener'. The liveries they did covered my needs, Australia and NZ. Should not be too hard to use one of those as a template but I have not tried. Great addition to the hangar and very well done.

What makes it worse is that my laptop with PSP and stuff is back in the shop with a dead DVD drive and a 'coincidental"' corrupt Win 10, so I cant even tackle them w/o a paintkit

    Icon25 RE: Bristol Freighter Repaints

    Hi All,

I purchased the FS Addon Bristol Freighter almost immediately it was released, and am delighted with it, both for detail and accuracy. I emailed Francois about further textures, and he put me on to Simon who replied straight away, as I was particularly interested in Textures for both the Mks 21 and 31 in Air Express livery. I know Simon is looking into that and a specific paint kit, but with the current world situation, I believe there may be other priorities. For textures, if you have access to the Air Britain publication "The Bristol 170" by Derek King, it shows a mountain of liveries, many in colour. Perhaps an email to Francois or Simon may help with an update

Mine appear to be broken - they are consistently showing 5 pounds too heavy....

Cees, I'm not much of a Facebook user, but I'll give it a try. Is it more appropriate to "Send a Message" or "Create Post" for questions like mine?
