Vertigo Studios Douglas SBD Dauntless on fire

I have been trying out some of my old old aircraft in V5, and tonight tried Vertigo Studios's Douglas SBD Dauntless, as soon as the sim loads I immediately have a problem.

It worked fine in V4 but in V5 I can't find a way to turn off the engine fire. Seams to work OK otherwise, but did not fly long as I did not want my virtual pilot burned to a crisp. Any one know of a way to turn off/disable the engine fire effect?

In previous versions of P3D I used to find that switching on the Strobe lights or pressing the L key initiated an engine fire effect. Don't know if that is the reason in v5 though.

I think it has to do with opening the cowl flaps.

I knew it was not the cowl flaps or running the engine too hard because it would start as soon as the sim loaded, but it was the lights. I cycled them on and off and the fire/smoke went away.

    Thanks for your help.
