    Devildog73,

There is actually a glider mission to Fort Eben-Emael in the Battle of France. It's the only airstart mission in the campaign package; you start in the air being towed by a Junkers Ju-52 transport.

One thing isn't correct. The Germans didn't capture any bridges around Amsterdam. But the bridges they had proved to be vital. By capturing the bridges in Rotterdam and South of Rotterdam they blocked the recapturing of Waalhaven airfield and stopped the French attempt to connect with the Dutch. The bridges in Maastricht were destroyed by the Dutch before the Germans arrived, however by capturing Eben-Emaul the bridges over the canals in Belgium (just over the Dutch border where captured intact.

The rest is history. The future for the next thousand years was limited to five.....

    Cheers,.
