    LDR Navion A

    A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FSX Aircraft

    Description: Welcome to the Navion Model A for FSX

    This virtual aircraft is based on the original models offered by North American Aviation in the 1950's. As such it features period gauges and avionics and a less powerful engine (205 HP) than was fitted in the later Model B variants.

    Please ensure that you read both the included 'Read Me' file and the PDF manual as you will need the information to correctly install and fly the aircraft especially with regard to the hydraulic system and flare operation.

    Beautiful freeware gift!

    New Navion A version -- this is marvelous, and flies as good as it looks!

    Beauty eh!, although she fast became one of my favourite planes for FSX I'm still struggling with a few issues, I can't get any switches to work either on my saitek panels or in the VC or via keyboard shortcuts. I'm sure I'll get through them though Maybe a little less time in GIMP and a little more in the cockpit? Anyways thank you very much!

    With a little bit of work it works in P3Dv5, and probably P3Dv4.5 but I haven't tested it, you just need to change out the sound gauge.

    Download dsd_p3d_xml_sound_x64 from Doug Dawson's site https://www.douglassdawson.ca/
    delete dsd_fsx_xml_sound.gau from the Ryan_Navion_A\panel folder and replace it with dsd_p3d_xml_sound_x64.dll from the zip file
    Edit the line in the Panel.cfg under [Vcockpit01] that reads
    gauge00=dsd_fsx_xml_sound!Sound, 2,2,2,2,\panel_sounds\dsd_fsx_xml_sound.ini
    to read
    gauge00=dsd_p3d_xml_sound_x64!Sound, 2,2,2,2,\panel_sounds\dsd_fsx_xml_sound.ini
    and your done.
