...Hi All, just reinstalled a plain FS9 and it requires these to get going, but I have no idea where I might change them!

goto the folder you installed fs9 to. right click on the fs9.exe file and under properties click on run as administrator. Its also good to run it in the XP mode also in properties.

That is a directx / graphics driver issue, try running in
'Windowed' mode, NOT "full screen"
