    Hi Sylvain,

Je peux me charger de le tacpackiser. Dès que les switches de l'armement sont actifs, je suis à même de trouver la valeur de la variable L: et de faire les fichiers TP... pour FSX du moins.

    Cordialement,

So I am assuming that all paints that have been done so far should work with new version, So I can add paints to new version and delete old version ?

And yes this is a fantastic addon, Thank You Very Much

Yes, all paints uploaded so far will work fine. They will be missing the small snippet of empty pylon detail added to the v1.2 paint kit on "Fuselage1_T".
But if you keep the missiles loaded you'll never notice.

Uploaded a couple repaints for the F-8J when assigned to VFP-63 at NAS Miramar in the 1970's. One more from 1980 to follow.

    Frank,

I thought VFP-63 was a photo outfit. That F-8 looks to have gun ports on it.

Maybe this one for a model

    Frank's painted them correctly.

VFP-63 had some F-8Js assigned alongside RF-8Gs as lead-in / familiarization capacities, as the there were limited numbers of the actual photo birds.

Do I hope that RFN does an RF-8G model? Without question, but that's a "fingers-crossed, dream of a lifetime" hope for another day.

I was stationed out there same time frame. Never saw a VFP F-8 with guns. Learn something new all the time. Thanks for the info.

Nice - Reserve F-8 squadrons often had some of the most colourful schemes.

Thanks. Now if we can get a K, or a C we can disguise as a K, we can do a some more reserve squadrons! I was surprised when I found this J in reserve markings.

Thank you Frank. As I mentioned above when I found this J I jumped on it. I try my best as I known many do to be true to the actual model. So, I’ve passed up quite a few great looking birds for want of the right equipment.

Here's one for Pete (Navy Chief). He asked me for a Crusader from Patuxent River.

I found this F-8J assigned to Naval Air Test Center Flight Test at NAS Patuxent River, Maryland.
In mid-1970 this aircraft was used for F-8 Crusader compatability trials on board the USS Midway following
the four-year modernization overhaul of the ship.

Thanks Frank. I like em both but that “PP 100” in the transition scheme is really cool.

Yeah, with Steve on the transition schemes. Not to detract from the preceding decade of service in bright colours, the succeeding almost decade for both F-4s and F-8s in the the varying shades of TPS is an often overlooked period.

I like the Pax River scheme too, as test and development schemes are very close to my nerd engineer heart. If a C model (pointy radome) materializes, I've got some good pics I took from a trip to Edwards on the DFBW (digital fly by wire) testbed F-8.

Thanks Frank and Steve (et al) for the great paints.

Uploaded another texture set for the RFN F-8E(FN)/F-8J by RFN. This one requires v1.2 or newer to get the correct coloring on the IR sensor housing.
This is another bird from VFP-63 at NAS Miramar in 1980. By this time the aircraft were still overall gray but had greatly reduced all national and unit markings.
Should be available in a day or so. Enjoy.

I'm in need of a good reference picture

I am modeling the under-wing pylons and I'm in need of a good reference picture. I have a couple of good dimensional drawings, so I'm good on size and shape..... but I'm having trouble with panel lines and other details.

I've looked through all of my books and pictures and I am almost flabbergasted that I cant find even one good picture. I'm forced to use a picture of a pylon from a plastic model kit instead but I can already see that the panel lines on it are incorrect, based on a picture I have showing the first 3 feet or so of a pylon on a USMC Crusader.

I'm trying to get this out the door ASAP, so any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
    Current System Specs :
    FSXA & P3Dv4 | Windows 10 Professional for Workstations (x64)
Motherboard: Gigabit Z390 Aorus Ultra, LGA 1151, Intel based
    CPU: Intel Core i9-9900K @ 3.60GHz | RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB DDR4 3600
GPU: ZOTAC GeForce GTX 980 Ti AMP! Extreme (6GB GDDR5)

The Naval Aviation Museum here in Pensacola will be open again on the 18th of May. If you don't have the info you need before then, I can see what the museum has. NC
