Hope I'm not wasting anyone's time with this but...

In a mission in which you return to base via "Primary" route your last waypoint is actually 5 miles out from base and when reached, your wingmen will peel off at 7 second intervals and land in reverse order. However, if you return via "Alt" route your last waypoint is the base itself and your wingmen will continue to follow you until you land then fly around aimlessly. I just discovered that in the latter situation if you land, stop and then hit "Wingmen Rejoin" your wingmen will fly out, turn and land.

Again, this is a new discovery for me and I hope I'm not just repeating something everyone already knows.

Yep. Also sometimes when you land at the end of a mission one or more wing men will go around but not come in to land. If you command them to rejoin they will enter the pattern and land.
