Supermarine Spitfire PR XI for CFS2 update by Shessi!

    Hi Folks,
Just finished and uploaded the CFS2 version of the updated FS2004 Spit PR XI. An update of Chris Lampard's original excellent model, to include a VC, animated detailed pilot, LOD's etc.

    Great for those sight-seeing missions!

    Cheers

    Shessi

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Aircraft - British

Description: An enhanced update and conversion of the excellent FS2004 model by Chris Lampard of a Supermarine Spitfire PR XI for CFS2.

The model was made by Chris in 2014. It originally didn't have a virtual cockpit and other details. Chris kindly let me use the source file to update and enhance his model for 2020. And then converted over to CFS2.

    Icon22 Shessi, you are awesome...

    Mark,

I found an older version of the Spitfire PR XI at Simviation, and noticed the conversion was really rough. I was just about to post in the CFS2 forum whether that model could be given an update, and I saw that you just recently completed and uploaded a much nicer conversion model, originally by Chris Lampard.

It's wonderful to have this; the original campaign used a Mk. IXc/e, but it will be much more authentic to use this version. Many thanks!
