Closeups, looks like real paint(brush) job. Would be h*ll of a job!
Could be mistaken, yet think they did the brown first then the green... pffff....

Great Shots Ulrich and of course thanks for your contribution to get the AMX updated to Native FSX.

I'm just dreaming of course, but if we could get modern weaponry and equipment (pods) on this beauty, that would be a dream!

My bet would be a screenprint...spray over stencil....
Trick would be to look for any repeated patterns...
Quite nice. It flies a nice aerobatic routine. The GPS took a minute to figure out but everything else was easy. I like the loadout panel. The AMX doesn't look like it should be able to carry those four fuel tanks! I've only flown it clean, but I want to see what a near max load does to performance. (The gear does squat quite a bit when you hang all four tanks on it!) I'm going to try the sound from Flying Stations Buccaneer though as it also used the RR Spey and it does sound a bit meaner.
FYI:
AER.1F-AMX-1 Flight Manual AMX series Aircraft
External Tanks
The four underwing pylons have provisions to carry external fuel tanks, however only two tanks can installed at a time. . .either on the inboard pair or on the outboard pair.
When either one or two external tanks are fitted to inboard pylons, operation of the transfer and refuel system in the inboard pylons is inhibited and conversely.

Thank you to all involved in this project, it flyes like a dream, here in Italy this jet is also named Topone ( =big mouse) because of the shape of the
nose :-)
The more you do, the less you dream
Just completed an upload of the package to Flightsim.com and Simviation.

I must have been first in line at Flightsim dot com this morning, the AMX is already posted for download.

Both have a huge member base. I think you'll see a lot more. A fitting tribute to a brilliant model brought back from oblivion.
What you and the team did, the generosity of the original dev, that is simply brilliant. I feel honoured that you let me test it.
I can't thank you and the team enough for this.
And given that you've included the paint kit, makes me hope for a lot of repaints!!
Cheers,
Priller
In the meantime simviation has 140 downloads. And flightsim 66!

Hello,
Excellent adaptation of this AMX !!
Shie flies very well!
I note that the frequency of the ADF is not displayed in the window (comm 2) panel, unlike shots seen on this post!
http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...636-AMX-Rising!
I said that the adf on the right console is running!
An idea of solutions?
Thanks everyone!

Hello Henk
Thank you for your reply!
It's a shame all the same because it was a plus!
I would ask, please, for cockpit, old, dirty textures ...
And, why not, the possibility of adding a radar ai, instead of the Radar Warning Receiver (inop)!
In any case thank you for the work done on this plane too little known!

I can't speak to anything related to gauges as they are 3D and programmed through the xml. If Henk finds those additions necessary it would be up to him to make the changes. As for the weathered and dirty cockpit, I don't have that ability. The current VC textures for the main panel and side consoles were drawn one component at a time using the AMX Flight Manual images as a template then placed in position. I don't have the expertise to turn them into well-worn (old, dirty) panels so someone who has that ability and finds the AMX a suitable project will have to take that on.

Hello falcon409,
-Thank you for that answer!
I understand for gauges and for new textures, myself being unable to do them!
I will therefore be satisfied with those available!
Thanks again.

Regarding the RWR, if someone is planning on adding Tacpack capability to this airplane, it should be possible to get the RWR on the main panel to work by adding a transparent $ texture just in front of it and placing the TMAP RWR gage on it.
I'm very confident that this should work, as I have been able to do it on a few models that I'm in the process of converting for P3Dv4.5.
Of course, the other thing to go with it would be working ECM gear...... but RWR is better than nothing

Ed, just wanted to congratulate you and your team on a job well done. Unlike most addons, this creation can't be flown ham-fisted. It takes finger tip control.
The bird has excellent manners in the air and is fun to fly. One question: I read the attached pdf and can get the AP to track the localizer, but I'm not having any luck tracking the glideslope. Is this modeled, or do I go to the TACAN position? Otherwise, this is a fast, nimble, very stable platform that is a delight to fly. It's a great addition to any sim hangar.. Great job! Terry
