Hello everybody, with Gregs,Fibbers and Andrews help I completed the readme with the missing links and added the two Japanese airplanes ( h6k and F1M2 ) to the package.
Except for the fact that the missions take off in the air everything should work completely.
Have fun with the Remastered Edition.
Greetings from Germany,
Mark
Here is a small Fix.
I Change the Shoho Airgroup to Historical Size ( it was really 6 Fighters to defend the Shoho ), in the other defend the Flet Mission 2 i Add the names of Shoukaku and Zuikaku to the Carriers.
A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Missions Add-Ons
Description: This is the remastered version for the old from 2003, built by Talon.
Thanks to Greg, Andrew, and Fibber with the missing Links, i have edited the pack and the 2 Japanese planes (H6k, F1M2 are now in the Aircraft Folder)
Note: The player starts in the missions in the air, I could not change it unfortunately that from the flight deck or from the airfield is started.
Coral Sea mission pack. The missions are historical and are from both the USN and IJN sides. You will be attacking Tulagi, the Shoho and Shokaku, plus defending your own fleet on the USN side. On the IJN side you will be attacking Adm. Graces' cruiser force, Lexington and Yorktown, plus defending your own fleet.

The comments you make there will appear in the posts below.
I have fixed the in-the-air starts for the carrier missions but I can't find the: SHA_NEOSHO ( from PHP Ship Pack ) . The link given downloads Maxstuka_ship_improvements_part_2, bu Neosho is not in there.

I have reupload the Pack and add the Neosho .
Thank you for the ship. I put it in and all is fine. Sorry it took so long but I sent you the missions with my changes. The player now launches as he should - from the decks. For my simplicity I hand edited the "paints" of the planes out and put in the overhaul Vals and Kates. I was too lazy to go hunting for the "skins." You can put them put them back in if you like, but use hand editing.
Be advised, if you change a ship or plane in Mission Builder, you have to reassign the plane to "take off" and "land at base" or when you save, they will start in the air. It's a MB quirk.
Cheers:

I agree with you about carrier take-offs. I have Windows 10 and my mission builder defaults. Has Markus added you missions to his remake. If not, how can I get a copy of your carrier take-off missions>

I get cannot find in object base JMK_Fubuki (type5) or Jmk_Porter. Is there some way to fix this?

Braveheart: I found FUBUKI_V6 at: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...d=211&id=21228
and PORTER_V1 at: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...d=211&id=21201
Does this help?

Greg,
I don't think that's what he is looking for. One of the issues with Usio's ships, aside from them being almost indestructible and having anti-aircraft fire comparable to the new Midway film is that in the [MISC_DATA] section, they are almost have the unit_family entry listed as aircraft carriers (Type 7) rather than surface vessels. (Type 5)
Braveheart,
You will either have to manually edit the .dp files of these ships to correct them, or try downloading Pen32Win's ship .dp upgrade, and see if the package contains these modified .dp files.

ElsnerMarkus,
I'm sorry, I neglected to thank you for all of your work on this package; it's nice to see some of these carriers and new equipment being used to overhaul the classics!

ElsnerMarkus,
Next time you upgrade old missions you should hand edit the Carriers in the mission file so they will takeoff from the carriers.
Talon ( RIP ) had updated these missions but never had the chance to upload them.He also reworked the AF=Midway missions. They were hand edited so they would work like the original missions. He also did some dp work on some of the JMK Carriers so they would burn like the originals in the missions. He did update alot his of missions and campaigns as new ships and planes came out but never got around to uploading them.

The pack has been updated again. Thanks to Greg for changing the missions to start directly from the carriers.
