    Defence of Australia

I installed this campaign and first mission vent fine, second one got the message :Error loading mission file, can't find WF_CRATES in the library.
Neither can I, I can find WF_C_CRATES.but not the first mentioned. I expect that the whole community has flown this campaign,so the problem is well known. What to do?????????

I have Rami's version of RAAF D.O.A missions and none of the missions have the wf_crate that I found. Only wf_c_crates. Maybe an error in the mission file, I am no expert at this so hopefully someone more experienced can respond.
Good luck. That kind of stuff drives me nuts.

    Highpockets and Killer Svend,

I understand your frustration, but to put the shoe on the other foot as a developer, the user learning how to make simple fixes by learning the structure of missions and making the leap that the error pattern would likely mean that there is a mistake and correcting it by renaming the missing object to the one that is already there would also be a valuable learning experience. It really shouldn't be that big of a jump.

    Here is the corrected mission.

(Please excuse the sarcasm, I'm emotionally spent and exhausted after working my normal school day and then going to a wake, and a funeral to follow tomorrow. I'm just a tad cranky this evening)

First: I have been tangeling with this problem for days, making renames and God know what.

Second: I am not born with a computer on my lab.

Third: save me for more sarcasm, show a little respect for the gray hair (wait until you are 80, because I will be dead then)
Fourth: Thank you very much for your help not only in this case, but also in many others.

    Killer Svend,

You're right. My apologies, that wasn't too kind of me. After a good night's sleep I'm feeling a lot better, and wish I hadn't posted that. Last night it didn't take much to annoy me, and that wasn't fair to you. It was the one mission in the bunch that had the error issue, it just happened to me the second mission into the campaign, and I made an assumption I shouldn't have.

I will recompile the auto-installer with the fix sometime this weekend and put it at my site and SOH.

Normally I'm appreciative of people letting me know, but I guess I am as human as the next man, and maybe should have waited until this morning to respond. Still doesn't make it right...

    Killer Svend,

Of course, no hard feelings on this end. Thanks for tolerating my immaturity.

    Good morning,

I updated the second Royal Australian Air Force package both at the box.net site and at SOH, as promised. The mission fixes have been included.
