The ship is 100% finished, like the crew, at the last moment I decided to add another option of Air Wing, the project took me much more than I thought because I changed 80% of textures of the ship and made again all the animations including that of the shooter, I only have pending the night textures of the air wing, I hope it is ready by mid-December in
the firts release I will only include the P3D version, the version for FSX would expect to have it one or two weeks later because i don't tested 100% and maybe i need remove some animations

    FSX Version

The version for FSX is ready, I am only working on the installation instructions and I have pending the executable for the installation, the differences with the version of P3D is that it comes with 1 single version of Air Wing and not 2 like the P3D version

    FSX version published

    https://secure.simmarket.com/cimogt-...rier-fsx.phtml

Model compiled for FSX and compatible with PREPARD3D v1, v2 and v3, made with Gmax, due to the limitations with the simulator in some cases you could experience:

-Eventual failure of the elevator hard deck platform leaving the plane to fall into the sea .

These do not affect the operation of animations or performance of the simulator

The models represents the new Ford class aircraft carrier CVN-79 USS John F. Kennedy,

The package includes the following models
    - Air Wing for the Kennedy
    - Los Angeles class SSN
    - Crew fot the CVN-79
    - CVN-79 Uss John F. Kennedy
    - Yukon Oiler
Animations and Lights include in the model
    - Radar. -Flags.
    - Crew. -Elevators. *
    - Elevators doors. *
    - Blast hangar doors. *
    - LSO officer. *
    - Parking deck lights. *
    - Perimetral White lights. *
    - Perimetral Blue lights. *
    - Carrier number light. *
    - Lights Doors in the hull. *
    - Positioning lights. *
    - Reflectors lights in the castle. *
    - SAR Helicopter. *
    - Rabbit light. *
    * Animation controlled by the user.

    Kennedy Gauge issue

    I've tried both FSX and P3D versions of this - I use P3D V3.4.

I installed the exe installer to a dummy folder then manually copied the files over to their proper locations within P3D:

With the FSX version I get a floating in the air boat:

I then uinstalled th FSX version and manually installed the P3D version (the boat will not hang in the air) and
when I add the gauge file rays of light from the flight deck:

I've used both P3D and FSX gauges and have same result (Light beams).
With the P3D version, in P3D V3.4, the light beams don't happen till I installed the gauge.
I also do not see the sar helo, it is baked into the mdl. The menu screen works. When I click on Activate Sar helo
    no helo appears.

Edit: looks like the gauge may be okay however, when I add the folder Trip Kennedy (Flight Deck Personnel) then the light issues (rays of light) happen.
When I select SAR Helo, it does not appear.

Air wing 2 Selected: I am assuming there is suppose to be an airborne SAR Helo.

EDIT: I had the gauge installed in the Main Gauges folder and now have copied it over to the aircraft that I modded to use the menu panel.

I still do not see the SAR Helo when I click on the Sar Helo Button......

    Men Overboard sorta

Some of the flight deck crew are a little overboard........

Still no visiable airborne SAR helo.........

  18. #43
I think that gauge is still a little buggy. Sometimes this happens and sometime is doesn't.

    My own plane guard

When selecting SAR Helo, it would not appear. Now I made my own SAR helo with out use of that menu screen.

PS: The FSX version of this would float in the sky, so I manually installed the P3D4 version of this in my P3D V3 and as you can see it floats in the water and not in the sky.
Now and then, the rays of light will appear from the flight deck and beam upwards. The beams resemble some of the night light effects that beam from the island.

The crew in the different models is in slightly different positions so if you mix them as you have done, happens this, so you can choose one of both P3D or FSX models to see what happens with your simulator but not if you mix both models , the air wing is also different between both simulators

    Hey Dekes

Is that you in the photo with the Seahawk Hawkeyes? I did the repaints for the whole det. of 4 authentically when I was in vCVW3 flying them using Alphasim E2's, the only game in town back then. I think that I redid them for Dino's E2/C2 Bird which I was involved with beta testing for him.
