Ed and I have been flying off and on together working our way over to Italy. Glenn Duncan created an awesome FS9 package with the name ATC 43 SA which is short for Air Transport Command 1943 South Atlantic Route. It contains period airfields; vehicles; VASI and the routes to fly like the original pilots did to Africa, Italy, and CBI. Here I am at Georgetown, Guyana after flying from Florida to Cuba and then to here. Each flight is a one day affair. Trying to do this authentically rather than just spawning to Torretta. The B-17 and B-24 pilots who flew across the North Atlantic Route to England had a lot longer flight which the guys in the 91st BG Virtual duplicate. Will keep on flying and posting and anxiously awaiting the FR B-24s but the Virtavia is a nice "bird" though it shows its age once in a while.
