sticky runways

I have installed a few vintage aircraft that seem to fly well but take forever to pick up sprrd as if they are stuck to the runway. I don't want to just increase the power in the cfg as they seem to fly correctly once in the air. Two of the aircraft the come to mind where this is happeneing is the upgraded Jenny and the Aeromarine 39B. Is there any adjustment I can make to let them roll easier down the runway?

My notes say that I tried reducing the pilot weight to zero and just about got it going that way!
